Superwozzy (real name Awodoyin Oluwamayokun Oluwasuntele Isaac) is a Nigerian rapper and songwriter born on November 2, 1998, in Osun State. He gained recognition for his energetic rap style blending Yoruba and English, and is known for tracks like “Gratitude” (featuring Barry Jhay), “Higher” (with Bella Shmurda), and “Don’t Pressure Me” (featuring Odumodublvck).
A graduate of FUTA, Superwozzy began his music career early and later signed with Dvpper Music. His EP Light of the Trenches further cemented his place in Nigeria’s new school rap scene. He’s known for telling authentic street stories through a fusion of hip-hop, Afrobeat, and Afro-drill.
Despite a 2020 controversy involving the police, Superwozzy remains focused on his music and continues to rise as a strong voice from the trenches.
