6IX9INE & NICKI MINAJ ‘TROLLZ’ DEBUTS AT #1 ON BILLBOARD HOT 100 – In a fight with “Rockstar“, DaBaby, Tekashi 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj‘s song “TROLLZ” debuted at number 1 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The controversial collaboration arrived on June 12 with a colorful music video in which Nicki did not shy away from showing her belongings. The duo previously worked on the hit “FEFE”, which reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is already certified by RIAA 8x platinum. This is Tekashi’s first number 1 on the Hot 100.

“TROLLZ” has not managed to surpass the streaming charts constantly since its release, but sales of the song D2C on the websites of the respective artists’ sites helped the single to hit the top of the charts. Nicki and 69 sold cassettes, CDs and vinyl editions of the song, in addition to various sales items, which would have brought over 100k of pure sales. It won the biggest first week of sales this year.
Last week, the duo released an alternative version of the song with a slightly different verse from rapper Young Money.
