Nigerian music producer, Samklef has defended Boxer, Anthony Joshua, after he prostrated for President Buhari while presenting his championship belt.
Anthony Joshua was slammed by Nigerians after prostrating for President Buhari during a courtesy visit to Aso rock. Nigerian expressed their disgust and disappointment in the athlete for stooping so low for respecting a bloody dictator and tyrant. One of those to criticize him was politician Femi Fani Kayode who called the act shameful.
He wrote, “I find this picture & @anthonyfjoshua‘s behaviour utterly repulsive and disgusting. Prostrating before his slave master & a bloodthirsty dictator & tyrant who is viciously persecuting and humiliating his people: what a crying shame. This speaks volumes. He has lost me”
However, Samklef responded to the tweet saying there was nothing wrong with what the boxer did as he was only being a respectful person. He added that we are Africans and that if a father is doing wrong, it doesn’t give his child the guts to disrespect him.
“I don’t agree with u sir today… we are Africans… even if my father is doing wrong I won’t still disrespect him… let’s not drag Anthony Joshua into this… have learn something new which is to pray for our leaders one day things go better.”
